Domeniko Peterkin is the Community Outreach Worker for Jaku Konbit. For the last 5 years, he has played a significant role in supporting the planning and delivery of Jaku Konbit services and programs; while engaging community stakeholders and organizational partners. He has contributed to the success of a range of Jaku Konbit annual programs including the Ujima Job Fair, the “Greatness is Within Me” Youth Camp, the Black Star Tutoring program, the Mentorship program, the Kwanzaa celebration, and the “Call Me, Let’s Chat” Seniors program where his duties included teaching digital literacy.
Passionate about making a positive difference in the lives of residents and other stakeholders in the African-Caribbean community and beyond, his duties also include strategic outreach and engagement via electronic, digital and social media tools.
