Jaku konbit’s Black Justice Navigator Program is a new initiative that supports Black individuals and families in navigating the justice system. The program offers culturally responsive guidance, advocacy, and connections to legal and community resources, helping participants understand their rights, overcome systemic barriers, and access fair and equitable justice outcomes. The project was created to respond to the real barriers Black communities face when navigating courts, corrections, and related justice processes.
Many Black individuals experience confusion, fear, and unequal treatment when interacting with the justice system. This project helps bridge those gaps by providing trusted, culturally responsive support from trained Justice Navigators who understand the lived experiences of Black communities.
