Andrew brings a strong combination of lived experience, legal training, partnerships brokering, and black community leadership to his role as Justice Navigator, uniquely positioning him to bridge frontline realities with systems-level change.
Andrew’s justice work is deeply personal. While studying law in the UK, he worked on pro bono cases as a lawyer-in-training, supporting and representing Black youth navigating a common law justice system similar to Canada’s. This experience grounds his work in empathy and a practical understanding of how justice systems impact Black communities. Due to
unique background he was appointed as a Director of the Board of Directors of the Federation of Black Canadians, where he currently advises and supports black community organizations in creating change inblack communities.
